Most places in the ocean usually experience two high tides and two low tides each day (semi-diurnal tide), but some locations experience only one high and one low tide each day (diurnal tide). The times and amplitude of the tides at the coast are influenced by the alignment of the sun and moon, by the pattern of tides in the deep ocean and by the shape of the coastline and near-shore bathysphere.

MALAYSIA CUP 2011 | 2ND QUARTER | PERAK VS SELANGOR

 Selangor's renaissance under interim coach P. Maniam continued after Rudie Ramli scored in a 1-0 win over Perak in the second leg at the Perak Stadium in Ipoh for a 4-1 aggregate victory.

Perak had few goalscoring chances despite having the majority of possession and were punished five minutes into the second half when Rudie, who came off the bench to replace the injured Amri Yahyah midway through the first half, headed into an empty net.

The goal resulted from a free-kick taken by Safiq Rahim, who scored twice from set-piece play in the first leg, which could only be pushed high up by goalkeeper Nasril Nourdin as Rudie followed up with an opportunistic header for his second goal of the tournament.

The Rejimen Askar Wataniah (English: Territorial Army Regiment;Chinese: 国土防卫後備军团; pinyin: Guótǔ Fángwèi Hòubèi Jūntuán) is the military reserve force of the Malaysian Army. An equivalent formation in the British Army would be the Territorial Army.

The Regiment infantry unit formerly consist 2 series reservist; the mobilized 300 series and the volunteer 500 series. But the 300 series which consist of 5 infantry battalions with mobilized reservists for full time duty has been converted into the new regular Rejimen Sempadan (Border Regiment) since 2008. The 500 series are reserve volunteers units, based in major towns and cities throughout the whole country. In all, there are about sixteen infantry Regiments of the 500 series beside other support and service support reserve units.<sup>[1]

Kementerian Pelajaran semalam melancarkan Dasar 1Murid 1Sukan yang menjadi serampang dua mata bagi melengkapkan skop pembangunan sukan sekolah dalam melahirkan pelajar seimbang dari segi jasmani, emosi, rohani dan intelek.

Ketua Pengarahnya, Datuk Abdul Ghafar Mahmud berkata dasar itu mewajibkan semua murid yang tidak mengalami masalah kesihatan memilih satu jenis sukan ditawarkan pihak sekolah atau dijalankan dengan persetujuan sekolah.

KELLIE'S CASTLE

Wiki info - Kellie's Castle (sometimes also called Kellie's Folly) is located near Batu Gajah, and is about 20 minutes' drive from Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. The unfinished, ruined mansion, was built by a Scottish planter named William Kellie Smith. According to differing accounts, it was either a gift for his wife or a home for his son.

WHO DARES?

It was the first day of Hari Raya and my family and I went to my auntie's crib in Sungai Kepar that late evening. During my childhood, when we were here, the first thing that we did were swimming in this small canal. This small bridge remains as it 20 years ago except it can't be utilized anymore due to the severe damage at the end of it..
